About Our Company

Since 1953, Lancaster Distributing Company has demonstrated innovative leadership in the paint and wallpaper sundry industry. Originally serving a small portion of the Carolinas, Lancaster has expanded its market to include the entire United States, the Caribbean, Mexico, Central America & South America.

Our corporate office in Spartanburg, South Carolina is supported by seven Distribution Centers located in South Carolina, Florida, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Texas, Califonia & Utah which enable Lancaster to provide dependable deliveries to customers throughout the market area.

Lancaster is a motivated team of more than 250 associates committed to reliably providing our customers the products, price and the service they deserve.

In order to offer our customers the most in performance and value, our aggressive marketing team continually considers new products. Members of Lancaster's field sales team are highly trained paint and wallpaper sundry specialists. These professionals regularly update their knowledge of products, and consumer and market trends through manufacturer sponsored training sessions.

Equipped with the latest in data entry technology, our customer service team can enter orders, check stock at all warehouse locations, and trace each order to its destination. Additionally, this technology allows us to provide comparable product suggestions and technical information instantly. We offer web order entry capability for those customers with internet access.

With warehouse space totaling 375,000 square feet, Lancaster maintains inventory in excess of $19 million; more than 13,000 stocking units, representing products from over 260 manufacturers... the greatest range of choice in the industry. We continue to improve our warehouse systems to increase efficiency, therefore enabling Lancaster to hold cost down for our active customer base of more than 8,500 independent paint stores, regional paint store chains, hardware stores, lumber yards, home centers & specialty stores. Lancaster offers UPS and common carrier shipments, enabling us to provide next day delivery to most of our customers.
